Amazing how attitudes have changed since he was at large.
I can clearly remember everyone chanting at UP at the police 'you'll never catch the ripper' and '12-0'

Looks like it is no longer on i-player. Brilliant insight to how shit and clueless the Yorkshire OB were. What sickened me was when they were all celebrating with cigars and whiskey after he was caught at the press conference. Sutcliffe had been questioned 9 times prior to that, you think you would keep your head down a bit if you were that shit at your job. There was a young girl who gave a perfect photo fit of him when she was nearly killed by him. She was never believed she was a victim and ignored.

Yes they were a shambles, a girl who survived an attack of the ripper gave a great description of him and if you see the efit it's obvious it's Sutcliffe. Also they narrowed it down to a few thousand men because of a £5 note that was in his wage packet yet still they let him slip through the net. Many lives could have been saved were it not for the complete incompetence of the police.

Watched a recent documentary on the Yorkshire ripper case and to describe the police work on it as shoddy would be putting it mildly.

Peter Sutcliffe walked into bar and asked a girl if she would like a cocktail? "oh yes please, I'll have a tequila sunrise thanks" He replied "bollocks you can have a screwdriver like the rest of them!"

Warchild Back in the days when people openly speaking out about Jimmy Savile raping young boys while TV execs were rubbing our faces in shows starring celebrity pedo elites in close proximity to children exclusively, were called conspiracy theorists.
The suspicion at the time I recall was that Sutcliffe was serving his masonic temple brothers by covering for Savile's rape/murder tendencies as several bodies of the victims were found near to everyone's favourite children's TV entertainer's home. The TV/radio never made much noise about that fact, just Sutcliffe was guilty and that was that.
Peter Sutcliffe and his friend Sir Jimmy Savile both were from the Wakefield area in West Yorkshire where most of the Ripper's victims came from.
The files in the case of the victim's of Sutcliffe/Savile[?] are to be kept secret by the UK government until 2060.
All protected by the state and it's media.
RE: "Sutcliffe suffering from covid at his end", most likely he had the best round the clock medical care in the world and the best painkillers provided, he ain't gonna be treated like our grandmas, in isolation tied to a chair and left to die, the brotherhood look out for each other in these very instances.

What's the background to the Bruno picture? How was that even possible?
And can't agree about it being best to hang him. Easy way out in my opinion. Stuck in a prison indefinitely with no chance of release would have been more painful for the cunt, and personally I think the most painful option is the better one.
Apparently he refused treatment for Covid, showing he wanted to die asap so the fact he was kept alive in prison for 40 odd years is a good thing.
Plus dying with Covid without medical assistance must have been pretty horrible. Which is a good thing in this case.

Remember this going on for what seemed at the time like forever ( I guess 5 years to a teenager is a long time ) Then they caught him and it was a bit surreal after so long and the wearside Jack thing.
Even more surreal is the fact that he was caught 40 FUCKING YEARS AGO !!!

Exactly. His little charade threw the police off the scent, allowing Sutcliffe to murder three (?) more women. He only got eight years.
